Good Social wasn't Started because the World Needed Another Marketing Agency. It was started because every business has a story worth telling.

Maybe you're carrying on a family business that's been around for generations. Maybe you took a passion and turned it into a career. Maybe starting your own business wasn't just a dream, it was the only option. Whatever your story is, it's deeply connected to who you are.

That's exactly why your marketing should never look like everyone else's. At Good Social, we work directly with you to build a marketing solution that reflects your business, your values, and what makes you different. Our goal is to position you as an expert, earn trust, and keep your business consistently visible to your ideal audiences.

What great marketing can do is make sure they know who you are before they need you. It builds familiarity and creates recognition. It reinforces the quality of your work, the service you provide, and the reputation you've worked so hard to earn.

Joshua Schultz graduated from Robert Morris University in 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. During his time at RMU, Josh was deeply involved with the Massey Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, where he was selected as a Rockwell Fellow and later recognized as Entrepreneur Student of the Year.

Good Social officially began during Josh's spring semester of Junior year. He worked as hard as he could through his remaining three semesters to build Good Social. Within 3 months of officially becoming registered with the State of West Virginia, Josh landed his first client under the Good Social name.

Josh is a West Virginia boy. He credits much of his work ethic to the state's blue-collar roots where showing up, working hard, and taking pride in what you build has always mattered. While his work doesn't involve steel mills or job sites, the American values remain the same. He believes the best work comes from getting your hands dirty. Whether that's literally or metaphorically. That's where you learn, improve, and where quality is built. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right, seeing it through, and being proud of the result.

Josh is also a Type 1 Diabetic. Long before owning a business he had to learn discipline, structure, and personal accountability every single day. Qualities that naturally carried into how he operates Good Social.

Outside of work, Josh keeps it simple. Early morning lifts are non-negotiable, followed by a habitual Dunkin run. He enjoys exploring local state parks and loves cars & trucks just as much as a 3 year old.

"Whenever you're afraid to jump in, that is exactly when you jump. Otherwise you stay in the same place your whole life, and that I cannot do."

Here’s the quote that pushed Josh to start Good Social.

It replayed in his mind as he sat at Dunkin’, staring at the “submit” button on his LLC application. One click stood between moving forward and always wondering “what if”.

It became very clear in the moment that wondering “what if” for years to come was scarier and would fill Josh with more regret than pressing submit and seeing what happens.
