Josh is a 2024 Graduate of Robert Morris University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. During his time there, he was heavily involved in the Massey Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Josh was selected as a Rockwell Fellow for Entrepreneurship his sophomore year. Being selected as a fellow gave him early, real-world exposure to what it actually takes to build a business.
Good Social started during the Spring Semester of Josh's junior year. By that point, it was already a registered LLC. From then through graduation, he ran the business full-time while finishing school. His senior year wrapped with being named Entrepreneur Student of the Year. Something he never would’ve predicted as a freshman who barely knew what entrepreneurship even was.
Outside of work, he keeps it pretty low-key. Early morning workouts are non-negotiable, followed by a habitual Dunkin run. When the weather allows, he likes walking or running through the city or nearby state parks.
Josh is from Weirton, West Virginia. Only recently has he fully understood how WV’s gritty personality shaped his perspective on work, responsibility, and earning your place. He’s proud to embrace that and behave as such.
Josh loves cars and trucks. Like a 3 year old. Some of his favorite shows are VEEP and Contraband: Seized at the Border. He’s also a Type 1 diabetic and was diagnosed at the age of 4. Which, forced structure, discipline, and consistency into his life long before running a business ever did.
One line he’s always connected with comes from the brand called Few Will Hunt, “Hard work in a soft world.” He interprets this as a way of operating for himself. He respects people who show up, take action, figure it out as they go, and don’t need much hand-holding. A mindset that carries into everything he does and is directly infused into how Good Social operates.
"Whenever you're afraid to jump in, that is exactly when you jump. Otherwise you stay in the same place your whole life, and that I cannot do."
